Profoto was founded in the late 60's and was very soon established worldwide as a leading make of studio and location flash equipment. The Pro Centre has been a Profoto stockist since 1996.
Profoto's enviable reputation for making flash generators, which are very fast, powerful, ruggedly built and extremely reliable, has meant that sales have grown enormously in the past 15 years.
Profoto generators provide very consistant output and extraordinarily stable colour temperature and exposure from flash to flash making it particularly ideal for use with digital photography.

The quality of flash light produced has to be good, evenly distributed, reliable, colour stable and fast - Profoto delivers all of these, but the range of lighting tools available to assist photographers in their work is also extremely important.
This is an area where Profoto excels. They have an incredibly wide range of reflectors, softboxes, spots and area lights, which can be used with all Profoto generator heads and D1 monobloc units. Many can also be used with the new HMi and tungsten units.
The unique design of Profoto light heads, with their zoom facility, gives photographers ultimate fingertip control to achieve different lighting effects.
